Just in time for the Christmas season, Dexxa (a Logitech subsidiary) has expanded its range of "budget" peripheral products with the addition of a cordless mouse and a cordless keyboard.
The products have benefited from Logitech`s design and manufacturing expertise gained over 12 years as leaders in the cordless peripheral market, says Shawn Bezuidenhout, Dexxa SA country manager.
"The products carry a comprehensive two-year warranty, are stylish and will complement any PC system. Each offering boasts a range of features comparable with many of the more costly, `high-end` options on the market," he says.
Bezuidenhout expects market demand for the Dexxa brand to be strong, particularly during the pre-Christmas period.
"We believe there is a gap in the market for a quality product range, backed by comprehensive warranties, but without the high price tags associated with many comparable products on offer by the major retail outlets," he says.
"The Dexxa brand, we believe, is synonymous with performance, quality and low price," he adds.
Founded in 1981, Logitech designs, manufactures and markets human interface devices and software that link people to digital information and the Internet and enable them to work, play, learn and communicate more effectively in the digital world. The company`s product family includes Internet video cameras; mice, trackballs and keyboards; PC audio and telephony products; and interactive gaming controllers.
With operational headquarters through its US subsidiary in Fremont, California, and regional headquarters through local subsidiaries in Romanel, Switzerland, and Hsinchu, Taiwan, Logitech International is a Swiss public company traded in Switzerland on the Swiss Stock Exchange under the symbols LOGN and LOGZ, and in the US on the Nasdaq National Market System (LOGIY). The company has manufacturing facilities in Asia and offices in major cities in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
