Ten days after eBucks.com encountered a problem during routine maintenance, the service has still not been restored to normal operating levels, further shaking local customers` faith in Internet banking.
Many eBucks online banking customers have had to make alternative arrangements this month-end as the Web site has gone up and down through the past week.
At the weekend, there was a complete shutdown with no telephonic banking services on offer.
"The site was taken down at the weekend for streaming in an effort to resolve the problem and make the site faster," says marketing representative Alannah Lavelle. "The error that is causing all the problems has been identified and technicians are still in the process of fixing it."
There has been no information from eBucks.com as to what the problem is, and no indication as to when online banking services will be restored.
