The evolution event

Johannesburg, 03 Jul 2007

FlowCentric solutions - a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and winner of the 2006 ISV Competency Award - hosted an event at the Microsoft offices in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

The purpose of the event was not only to liaise with existing customers, but also to establish a communication channel with a growing list of prospects.

The FlowCentric BPMS offering has evolved tremendously over the last year or so, and Tuesday's event was essential in communicating both the growth and the future direction of the FlowCentric business process management suite of products.

"Continuous evolution of our product is our way of ensuring we are a step ahead in our industry. We are always looking at new and improved ways of enhancing our offering to both existing and new customers," says Yasmin George, sales administration manager at the ISV.

When asked about the theme "Evolution", George quipped: "In line with the evolution of our product, we thought it apt to take this forward as the theme for the event. We carried the theme through by showcasing the evolution of the telephone, switchboard system, computers, radios, headphones, fans, and so forth."

The FlowCentric product presentation was done by Clark Coetzee, Sales Director of FlowCentric.

FlowCentric also sketched a 10-minute dramatisation, based on the successful theatre production, "Defending the Caveman", which augmented the theme and emphasised how fast information technology has evolved in recent years. MC on the day was Trevor Noah - a local comedian who has taken the South African comedy scene by storm. Noah interacted quite naturally with the audience. Comedy is a universal language and Noah had the audience in stitches more than once during his stint.

On departure, guests were handed some FlowCentric-branded paraphernalia. Branded memory sticks were included and both current and potential customers were queuing up to schedule appointments with FlowCentric sales staff.
