At the recent Microsoft Partner Summit 2006, the i5 Technology Group came out tops in three of the 17 award categories that identify leading companies within Microsoft`s Partner Programme, awarding them for commitment and work done with solutions over the preceding year.
Having only been in business for three years and already being an industry leader, these recognitions of the i5 Group highlights what can be achieved through mutually beneficial partnerships.
The i5 Group was awarded Microsoft Dynamics Partner of the year, Microsoft Information Worker Partner of the year and the Microsoft Winning Customer award, which identifies competencies in securing new business within Microsoft`s Partner Programme.
This local recognition followed one previous nomination earlier this year at the Global Partner awards in Boston where the i5 Technologies Group was a finalist in the Sales & Marketing Partner of the year category.
"As a three-year-old company, being compared to Microsoft`s other top partners by just being nominated for the partner awards is a fantastic achievement for the i5 Group, but actually winning three of them is remarkable," says Glen Ansell, CEO of the i5 Technologies Group.
He adds that the achievements of the company in only three years is testament to what can be achieved by working in close partnership with Microsoft. "The i5 Technologies Group is a young and dynamic company. The fact that it has managed to grow to the size in which it has in such a short space of time shows what can be achieved by working with Microsoft, a partnership we value greatly," says Ansell.
Willem Naude, Financial Director for the i5 Group, explains that the company has worked with Microsoft from the very beginning. "The i5 Group became a Microsoft Gold Partner within its first year of operation," he recalls. "We are certified for providing Microsoft business solutions, advanced infrastructure, normal network infrastructure, independent software vendor (ISV) solutions, as small business server specialists and will soon be granted licensing status too."
The i5 Group`s work in extending and embedding CRM solutions outside of regular deployments through the company`s .Net development competencies, alongside its ability within the ISV space has established it as a leader in deploying Microsoft-based CRM projects. These achievements contributed to the winning of the Dynamic Partner award, where the company was up against top ERP providers, besides the other CRM vendors nominated.
Value is added to CRM solutions via the company`s ability to provide integrated and extended modules within clients` environments that enable static information worker resources to be cohesively connected to all communications infrastructure.
"We have also successfully managed to leverage the early-adoption of these approaches, providing customers with extended layers on top of conventional CRM deployments," adds Naude.
Heather Third, in charge of Business and Marketing organisation at Microsoft, congratulates the i5 Group on its achievements. "We are delighted to see i5 take the honours at the recent summit," she says. "Their commitment and involvement in the Information Worker and Dynamics businesses have been testimony to the close alliance we have built over the last year. As we go forward with our new releases into the next year, with Microsoft Office 2007 and the Dynamics range, we look forward to strengthening our ties with i5, and ensuring that we continue to bring innovation to the market together."
