Orange Business Services has been delivering ICT support services from April 2009 to The Innovation Hub (TIH) management and all its clients, totalling approximately 67 companies based at the hub.
ICT services entail the installation and support of a Network Operating Centre, project office set-up and management, management and set-up of a help desk environment, desktop support, network support, enterprise server support, application support and infrastructure data cabling and telephony support. These services are executed within a framework and managed via Orange Business Services operations manager for Pretoria branch.
Part of the delivery entails the drafting of the ICT strategy and this is done in conjunction with the COO and CEO for TIH. Orange Business Services believes that the purpose of TIH's ICT strategy is to set out a clear and coherent framework for the delivery of ICT systems and infrastructure that will support the delivery of the mandate of The Innovation Hub to meet the strategic alignment to its shareholders and stakeholders.
Orange Business Services' mandate is to stabilise the environment and offer support and maintenance to the TIH ICT structure. It has gone beyond the base services and offered enhancement to TIH management. It is consistently measured by TIH management and its milestones are determined through its support delivery, explains Ashley Floris, Executive Director of Orange Business Services.
