Quick Connect Wireless, an innovative connectivity start-up company in The Innovation Hub's Maxum Business Incubator, in Tshwane, has partnered has partnered with The Hookup Dinner (THUD) to deliver a customised and contextualised online experience that engages the THUD community at their networking events.
"Quick Connect Wireless has developed a unique value proposition for events by providing free WiFi access to guests and a tailored content service for hosts that allows them to engage with their audience," said co-founder James Coetzee. "This partnership is a breakthrough for us and it will enable us to redefine how online access and content is managed on the move and in communities."
The Innovation Hub's Maxum programme is an entrepreneurship intervention designed to accelerate the growth of innovative knowledge and technology-based enterprises in Gauteng. It comprises the Maxum Innovation Factory, which is a pre-incubation programme, designed to support entrepreneurs over a six- to nine-month period to develop bankable business plans; and Maxum Core, the main incubation programme through which entrepreneurs are supported for up to three years to build profitable and sustainable businesses. In the Innovation Factory, entrepreneurs are assisted with refining their business cases and finalising their prototypes, while in main incubation, the focus is on commercialisation, growing revenue and building sustainability.
