Tarsus Technologies, the value-add distribution arm of MB Technologies, is pleased to announce the availability of the super-light, ultra-thin Compaq Evo N410c Notebook from HP.
Despite weighing in at just 1.59kg and measuring a mega-flat 2.3cm, the N410c features a 12.1-inch XGA TFT display and a full-sized keyboard. The keyboard has special feature hotkeys allowing for instant access to power conservation, QuickLock/QuickBlank, battery guage, MultiPort on/off, speaker volume control and brightness. Users can also toggle between internal and external or even simultaneous displays.
Four Easy Access Buttons increase productivity, supplying one-touch access to helpful Compaq information, favourite Internet sites, files or applications.
"This little machine is powered by a mobile Intel Pentium 3 1.2GHz-M processor and comes with Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition or Microsoft Windows 2000 preinstalled," says Jason McMillan, HP product manager at Tarsus Technologies.
The notebook has a self-powered external MultiBay, providing cost-effective and travel-friendly access to MultiBay drives. Further facilitating enhanced mobility, the optional Mobile Expansion Unit (MEU) provides Multimedia, NIC pass through, storage and stepped-up security features. With the MEU, users can make use of various optical drives including DVD/CD-RW Combo drive or a CD-ROM drive. "The Evo N410c is protected by a three-year worldwide limited warranty," McMillan concludes.
