And to celebrate, Watershed is launching their new song - "Think About It" at their CommUnity Concert in association with eBlockwatch and Childline Gauteng on Saturday, 29 September, from 2 - 7pm, Dimension Data Campus, Sloane Street, Bryanston.
eBlockwatch has designed a system ensuring that all our beautiful rainbow people stay free from crime. To register for this amazing initiative, SMS watershed to 33930, follow the prompts and for R10 per month, you will receive a speed dial number to save to your phone.
If you are in trouble, hit the button and your nominees and eBlockwatch volunteers will come to your assistance. Should you go missing, your cellphone can be traced immediately, giving us an indication of where to look for you. Andre Snyman of eBlockwatch is determined to keep any South African safe, anywhere, anytime!
Lynne Cawood, Director of Childline Gauteng, applauds this community initiative giving parents peace of mind through technology enabling children to connect to loved ones if they are in trouble. In addition, Childline Gauteng will receive R1 for every registration, helping to extend its services to vulnerable children.
Every month Childline receive thousands of calls and hears stories of violations to children. This initiative helps to prevent crime and ensures that our Rainbow Nation's children do not have to experience horror happenings.
The kindness and support of eBlockwatch volunteers goes a long way to generating a caring community spirit and teaching us all the value of belonging to a really great nation.
This CommUnity concert will be hosted by Dimension Data, South Africa's leading communications technology company, which is totally committed to the development of the born free generation.
