ThinkingRock upgrade not free

ThinkingRock, an Australian-based developer of open source used to collect and processing thoughts into a project plan says it will charge $15 per year for its upgraded modules, as it cannot carry its current involvement based on the revenues from the donation box.

Initially the developers said the release will be free for people who have donated in the past. However, as some users have started donating $1 USD, from 26 March 2007, donation will have to at least $15 USD to apply.

The company said it hope people will understand its position as it considers $15 USD to be a reasonable amount. It says there will always be a free version of ThinkingRock available. There is also a possibility that payable modules will become free 3 months after their release date.
