Thrustmaster is finally available locally! Mobile G, the South African company that is representing the Thrustmaster brands in SA, has signed a distribution agreement with Bowline Fulfilment (Pty) Ltd, allowing Bowline to distribute the Thrustmaster range of products countrywide.
Thrustmaster, the name synonymous with high quality PC and gaming peripherals, has a product range that includes joysticks, controllers, speaker systems and racing wheels.
"Their unique product range has made Thrustmaster a market leader in Europe," comments Bert Doggart, MD, Mobile G SA.
Thrustmaster is also well known for its licensing partnerships. "Also, do not underestimate the influence of relationships. The relationship with Ferrari allows Thrustmaster to bring a very realistic wheel to gamers. Similarly, the Top Gun and US Air Force relationship means they deliver a joystick with loads of added value to our customers."
Thrustmaster differentiates itself from its competitors by offering products that are dual- and multi-platform devices. Traditionally, gaming devices are console-specific, but with many of the Thrustmaster products, you can have one device that will work with both the PC and the PS2, for instance.
The company also ships a full range of audio solutions that are compatible with PCs, consoles, Macs and iPods as well as premium input device `packages`, like the Wireless Nomad range, which adds innovative input value to mobile PC and Mac users` fingertips. Additionally, products from Hercules, the sister company to Thrustmaster, are also being represented by Mobile G locally and distributed by Bowline. The product sets include communications, in the form of IP telephony solutions to appeal to the emerging low-cost voice-call market.
