Tibco brings DIY BI

Tibco will offer do-it-yourself capabilities for generating business intelligence reports on business processes to users of its BPM software, says The Industry Standard.

Built as an add-on to Tibco iProcess Suite for BPM, the company's Tibco iProcess Spotfire software enables users themselves to build personalised, real-time process reports.

With this information, users can fine-tune their applications. Previously, users have had to specifically request BI information on BPM from IT personnel.

Adobe Systems has rolled out Adobe LiveCycle Enterprise Suite 2 (ES2), a major software release enabling businesses and governments to build applications that improve interactions with customers and constituents across devices and channels, states ebizQ.

According to the company, LiveCycle ES2 deliverers significant productivity improvements to IT and line-of-business managers, and provides a rich Internet application (RIA) framework for building customisable RIA workspaces, mobile and desktop access to critical applications and deployment in the cloud.
