TIBCO named a worldwide leader in IDC MarketScape for business process platforms

TIBCO Software (NASDAQ: TIBX) today announced that IDC has named TIBCO a leader in the new IDC MarketScape for Business Process Platforms (BPP) 2014 Vendor Assessment, as well as a disruptive innovator in process automation.

Following an extensive evaluation of 22 vendors, only 10 were selected to participate in the MarketScape for Business Process Platforms. The research study focuses on sophisticated offerings that address enterprise-level strategic and transformational process improvement as well as departmental innovation initiatives.

TIBCO was recognised to be a leader because of strong scores across all 13 categories evaluated and, as the report states, because of: "TIBCO's end-to-end focus on event-driven BPM, particularly the ability to use ActiveMatrix BPM to dynamically render a user interface, its support of case management style applications, and its integration with its rules-oriented, event processing software to provide highly scalable real-time, decision-centric automation."
