Tibco positioned as leader in Garter Magic Quadrant for BPM suites

Johannesburg, 29 Jan 2008

Tibco Software has been positioned in the Leaders' quadrant of Gartner's December 2007 'Magic Quadrant for Business Process Management Suites, 2007' report. (1)

Gartner defines leaders as "distinguished by their focus on driving a paradigm shift toward increased business user participation in the entire process improvement life cycle, by enabling explicit, model-driven solution deployment rather than traditional coded approaches".

As enterprises seek to optimise business processes, decisions and actions, they are increasingly turning to products such as Tibco's business process management (BPM) solution, Tibco iProcess Suite, which is built on an open architecture and delivers end-to-end process management that encompasses modelling, design, deployment and execution.

"We believe Tibco's position in the Leaders' quadrant is a direct result of the value we provide to thousands of customers using our BPM offerings," says Marco Gerazounis, Tibco director for the Middle East and Africa.

"Tibco's leadership is demonstrated by our ability to execute and deliver flexible, end-to-end solutions that enable companies to move seamlessly from modelling through to execution to quickly unlock business value and realise greater business agility."

Tibco offers several valuable online BPM resources, including practical tips and techniques, video tutorials and Webinars that are all designed to help users quickly get up-and-running with Tibco's award-winning Tibco Business Studio. Tibco Business Studio addresses the market need for a fully-functional modelling environment for use by non-technical business users in a variety of vertical industries. Because it is standards-compliant, with support for BPMN and XPDL, models created can be easily shared or implemented by a variety of users.
