TIBCO receives 2006 APICS Corporate Award of Excellence

TIBCO Software, a business integration and process management software company that enables real-time business, has announced that APICS (The Association for Operations Management) has awarded TIBCO with a prestigious Corporate Award of Excellence for 2006.

Specifically, TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager, the core of TIBCO's Master Data Management (MDM) solution, was recognised with an APICS Innovation Award of Excellence.

APICS's mission is to build operations management excellence in individuals and enterprises through superior education and training, internationally recognised certifications, comprehensive resources and a worldwide network of accomplished industry professionals.

The APICS Innovation Award of Excellence recognises the development of a new technique or product that has significantly advanced the field of operations management. In winning this year's award, TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager was recognised specifically for originality; usefulness to the industry; strategic potential; real-world impact; and operational efficiencies achieved in current deployments.
