TIBCO unveils new software

TIBCO Software released its business process management (BPM) solution, TIBCO iProcess Suite 10.6, reports CNN Money.

The software delivers an integrated user experience throughout the stages of process modelling, design, deployment and execution, as well as a tighter link between the company's BPM and service-oriented architecture (SOA) layers.

TIBCO iProcess Suite 10.6 also includes feature enhancements that deliver improved role-based usability, more granular process monitoring capabilities and scalability to manage a broader array of critical business processes.

Pegasystems releases BPM suite

Pegasystems has announced the latest version of its SmartBPM Suite for organisations to improve customer service, reports TMC Net.

This release marks "a new standard" for speeding BPM initiatives across lines of business, and comes on the heels of a survey released last month, cited by Pegasystems officials, showing "productivity gains of five times or more for organisations using SmartBPM compared to traditional Java development approaches".

This latest version includes more than 40 changes. New localisation capabilities and encryption-based are geared towards multinational organisations.

BEA readies BPM upgrade

BEA Systems will release a new version of its business process management (BPM) suite, AquaLogic BPM 6.0, which has been optimised for complex process needs, reports Infoworld.

Also highlighted in the release are "simple-to-use" tools for IT and business users. In addition, version 6.0 focuses on ad hoc collaboration and SOA. Process types are enabled, including collaborative human processes and system-centric processes.

BEA's Dev2Dev Web site for developers said version 6.0 features a new version of the BPM Studio process modelling and design tool, based on the Eclipse platform. Also in version 6.0 are support for BPEL 2.0, XML Process Definition Language 2.0 and enhanced business rules.
