Times 3 Technologies clinches coveted Sage ERP X3 Sales Award

Johannesburg, 21 Feb 2012

During the recent Annual Sage ERP X3 Global Sales Convention that was held in Paris, France, Times 3 Technologies walked away with a Sales Award for generating the most Sage ERP X3 sales revenue for the year 2011.

First time winner, Times 3 Technologies is exceptionally proud of the achievement. “This token of recognition from the global Sage ERP X3 team is a tribute to a phenomenal team of people at Times 3 Technologies and the way that we structured the business from day one,” says Ashley Ellington, Director at Times 3 Technologies.

Times 3 Technologies' consultancy arm and dedicated support team was a structure put in place from day one. The company's focus was the implementation of new ERP installations and the effective support of existing clients, which provided a springboard for Times 3 Technologies to move forward.

There is a definite opportunity for Sage ERP X3 in the market, says Ellington. “It is not simply about ERP. It is about defining processes and understanding why those processes are important to the client. A thorough business analysis provides the foundation upon which a solid solution can be built that will address the client's needs with Sage ERP X3 in mind.”

The entire process needs to be underscored by open and honest communication with a client when it comes to what you can deliver, what the client expects, and successfully bridging that gap. “You need to apply the customer insights you have gained from the business analysis process using the correct implementation methodology to manage the delivery on all the criteria agreed upon. The ultimate target is to have a successful go-live at the end of the project. Once achieved, you will have a satisfied client that is comfortable to continue doing business with you,” explains Ellington.

The awards ceremony in Paris was held to recognise country and global partner achievements within the Sage ecosystem, says Keith Fenner, Vice-President of Sales for Africa, Softline Accpac and Sage MMD Africa. “Times 3 Technologies has done South Africa proud and their achievement has set the benchmark for the rest of the market to target. Their flawless execution and implementation is visionary and the sales award is testament to a management team that functions well, staff members that are dedicated, and business principles that deliver,” says Fenner.

Christophe Letellier, CEO, Sage ERP X3, commented: “Our partners are an integral part of our success in increasing our business globally. We have recently announced our Global Partner Programme, which is designed to formalise our partner relationships and provide real benefits to our partner community. Our recent Global Sales Convention was aimed at bringing Sage ERP X3 sales teams and partners together and is one of many events that are aimed at educating, informing and recognising the importance of our partners in Sage ERP X3 as we continue to grow,” concludes Letellier.
