Tiscali World Online is hosting internationally renowned effective change consultant Dan Cohen at a breakfast seminar to be held at the Sandton Sun in Johannesburg on Friday, 4 October. Cohen, principal at Deloitte Consulting in the US, will present on the "heart of change" - real life stories about how companies achieve change.
The talk will show that in a competitive market, it is a company`s ability to remain flexible and effectively manage change that results in positive differentiation.
Cohen focuses on consulting on large-scale organisational transformation. He leads Deloitte Consulting`s Global Energy Change Leadership Practice and spearheaded the development of the firm`s Global Change Leadership Methodology. He has provided consulting support to a number of Fortune 100 companies.
In the book "The Heart of Change", John P Kotter of Harvard Business School and Cohen shed some light on how to achieve change through dozens of stories from organisations around the world. After many years of research, Kotter and Cohen have found there is a flow to successful change.
"Dan will speak about the eight fundamental steps that must be undertaken, usually but not necessarily in succession, in order to create a more positive climate for change and engage the whole organisation in transformation," says Victor.
