In the spirit of wrapping up 2012, video-sharing Web site YouTube has released a list of SA's top 10 most popular YouTube video advertisements of the year.
Luke Mckend, Google SA country manager, says 2012 has been a "great year" for online video advertising. "Brands are increasingly taking advantage of the social nature of online video by creating ads that are likely to be shared, liked and commented on."
These are the local ads that got the largest number of views from South Africans this year:
