Deltalink Consulting, the exclusive Southern African distributor of Russia-based ABBYY, today announced that the latter has received top honours in the compliance category of the 2008 ECM Connection ACE Awards.
The ACE awards are designed to honour companies for their noteworthy achievements in the promotion of and education about enterprise content management (ECM) technologies, in the categories of banking/finance, compliance, government, healthcare, high-volume scanning and low-volume scanning.
"With the criteria based on appeal, content and education, the 2008 ECM Connection ACE Awards were judged by a panel of industry analysts and editors and voted on by the readers of ECM Connection," commented Wes Palmer, Web editor at ECM Connection.
"These awards are designed to honour companies that are making extra efforts to promote the education and adoption of enterprise content management technologies within specific markets beyond their overall horizontal offerings."

"All the companies on the list have been thoroughly evaluated, and each has truly contributed value to the industry," explained Hugh McKellar, editor-in-chief of KMWorld. "Innovation is a key aspect that sets these companies apart from the others, and we believe that they are the year's best in delivering solutions that help organisations to streamline processes and highlight the positive gains in the efficiency of knowledge workers. ABBYY USA is well deserving of this recognition."
