Goldblatt, who took up his appointment earlier this month, will be based at the Tokai, Cape Town, office of the international management consultancy where he will focus on service delivery, and client and partner relationship management.
Xayce (pronouncec Zace) is a dynamic and innovative management and business integration consultancy with offices in Manchester, London, South Africa and the US.
The consultancy was established in 1997, by a team of senior consultants with `big five` consultancy experience who saw an opportunity to deliver a more flexible, agile and value-driven service.
Goldblatt began his career as a programmer in 1978, and rapidly developed programming and analysis skills predominantly in the life insurance industry. In 1982 he travelled to Asia and Australia, and for the next six years worked for Deloitte Haskins & Sells in Hong Kong and Sydney.
In 1989 Goldblatt joined IBM China/Hong Kong where he was instrumental in the establishment of both the Systems Integration and Professional Services business units.
He returned to South Africa in the early 90`s and worked as an independent contractor and consultant- implementing several key projects for various blue chip clients.
Last year Goldblatt was certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the US-based Project Management Institute (PMI). He subsequently co-developed and presented a Certificate in Project Management course with Professor Derek Smith of the University of Cape Town.
"Saul`s wide and varied experience, and his highly successful track record, will add significant value to Xayce`s operations in South Africa, and will further assist to establish Xayce as the service provider `Defined by Delivery,` said Xayce International MD Bruce Thorndike.
