Top Symantec South Africa partner sets sail for Rio de Janeiro

Symantec's channel sales and marketing teams in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region recently launched an incentive programme to its reseller partners, giving them the opportunity to win a five-day trip to Rio de Janeiro.

"The programme, called 'No Limit', was designed to encourage our partners to drive incremental sales, increase Symantec's brand exposure and maximise sales made from Symantec products," said Chad Cleevely, enterprise channel sales, Symantec South Africa. "Our channel partners met the challenge with great enthusiasm, making a large impact in terms of Symantec's visibility."

More than 1 000 sales people from 167 resellers participated in the programme, in which they were required to meet set revenue targets for the June and September quarters.

A select group of 74 partners from 18 countries met or exceeded the revenue objectives and were awarded with the prize of five days in Rio de Janeiro. The winner of the incentive programme in SA was Enterprise Connection, a Symantec enterprise sales partner.

Helena Badenhorst, the top licence sales executive at Enterprise Connection, joined winners from all over the globe in Rio, enjoying its spectacular beaches.
