Following the recent decision by the Adcorp Group to discontinue the Ambassador Training & Development operation for operational requirements, Torque Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a black-owned business, have acquired the assets of the company for an undisclosed sum.
"The transaction made perfect sense for both companies," says Gary Chalmers, Managing Director of Torque-IT, "with both companies involved in Cisco and Microsoft training as their primary focus. We look forward to establishing a long-term and mutually beneficial relationship with all of Ambassador's and Adcorp's clients."
Mike Merry, Commercial Director, Knovation at Adcorp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adcorp Limited, says "Torque-IT has long been an admired and respected competitor of Ambassador's. We believe their innovative approach to training and market leadership echoes that enjoyed by our own organisation, and we look forward to a long term partnership with Torque-IT."
