Toshiba unveils next-gen phone
Toshiba America Information Systems (AIS) has rolled out the DKT2404-DECT, its next-generation digital cordless telephone for the Toshiba Strata CIX family of VOIP business communication systems, says Sys-Con Media.
The Toshiba DECT cordless telephone offers up to seven times the range of other cordless telephones.
Mark Carpenter, senior product manager at Toshiba AIS, says: “For enterprises where mobility is essential, the new Toshiba DECT telephone delivers exceptional range, long battery life, high-audio quality and access to advanced telephony features on the Strata CIX VOIP system.”
CyberTech certifies Mitel
CyberTech International, a global provider of voice and data recording technologies, has certified for Mitel secure VOIP, reports Trading Markets.
CyberTech is to offer a fully certified recording solution for Mitel's Secure Recording Connector as part of the Mitel MiSN developer programme.

TalkSwitch reveals VOIP programme
TalkSwitch has introduced a multi-partner VOIP programme to improve the benefits available to its customers from the TalkSwitch IPPBX systems, states TMCnet.
With the VOIP-enabled TalkSwitch systems, the customers can migrate from traditional telephone lines and grow with VOIP services such as voicemail, record logging and auto fax detection.
