Mobile sales solutions company Tracer has added two new modules to its increasingly popular sales management solution Tracer CRM. These enable integration with Outlook and a continuous business communication feed.
Tracer CRM, a mobile platform which is browser-based and can be accessed from a computer via the Web or from any smartphone browser, gives Tracer's clients the ability to manage sales, service and technical workers simply and accurately.
Tracer CRM's four existing modules are as follows:
* Core, a secure accessible database to store core client information aimed at workers who are on the road often.
* Activity Management, a module listing sales-focused activities that are required from the user either on a routine or an ad hoc basis, and particularly suited to sales people or service agents who need to conduct regular visits to clients.
* Pipeline Management, aimed at the effective control and follow-up of sales opportunities, aimed at salespeople who need to report on sales opportunities and probability ratios.
* Assessments, a module aimed at the collection of predetermined information for reporting and distribution purposes, and which enables collection and management of data.
"To these, we've added Tracer CRM Outlook and Tracer CRM Business Communication Feed," says Cobus van Graan, CEO of Tracer.
"The Outlook module easily captures client activities and e-mails in the Tracer CRM system without leaving Outlook. It means that salespeople have to do virtually nothing to report on their activities. Aimed at the collection and management of data, it enables users to capture meetings and e-mails sent or received from clients in the Tracer CRM system."
The module targets people who work in Outlook and allows users to manage and update their client database and activities directly from Outlook. Users can post incoming and outgoing e-mails and meetings, and warehouse attachments in Tracer CRM.
The second new module, Tracer CRM Business Communication Feed, enhances a company's internal communication across functional divisions. "The focus is on sharing contextualised information and communication on clients, leads, people and business potential," says Van Graan. "We've harnessed the power of social networking trends as the basis for this module. It's a layer across the database, which has a similar look and feel to Facebook. Users can link and make comments, and see which clients their colleagues are working on, and offer tips and advice where possible. It creates a true communication hub."
Business Communication Feed makes is easy for users to share and receive communication that will add value to company objectives. It enables them to post ideas for enhancing efficiencies and successes, and can also be used to create team and senior management communication threads.
Van Graan says Tracer CRM has been designed to create an environment that is easy and comfortable for sales people to use. "The two new modules make it even more compelling for sales teams and sales managers," he adds. "With its increased functionality, it remains a powerful management tool because salespeople are comfortable using it. That's the mark of a truly valuable sales solution."
