Schools gain from Qwest
Qwest has offered customers a chance to donate 1% of their monthly bills to the school district of their choice if they are willing to switch to online billing, says HelenaIR.com.
Spokesperson Jennifer Barton stressed the convenience to customers, such as allowing them to save time and postage as well as the need to write cheques for their phone or Internet service.
More and more Americans are choosing to pay bills electronically. Barton said Qwest has 80% more customers signed up for electronic payments now than the company had at the beginning of the year - and that`s before introducing the schools donation campaign.
