Tradepage, a specialist business Internet Service Provider and Navision Software Solution Centre (NSC), recently held a corporate day with more than 550 of its top clients attending. The aim was to show them how to extend their business over the Internet by combining Tradepage`s Internet development skills with Navision Software`s customised accounting packages.
According to Tradepage managing director Ian Halliday, Navision Software offers flexible, scalable solutions with increased functionality. "The product and the company provides our clients with a comprehensive platform on which to extend their business over the Internet. Navision`s structure is flexible, making it possible to adapt to any business while managing growth simultaneously. Considering the excellent turnout and the huge interest shown in Navision`s flexible solution, we anticipate that a large number of our clients with existing accounting systems will soon migrate to Navision Software, the only accounting system that offers full Internet and e-commerce functionality."
Qualified staff from Navision Software assisted clients with "hands-on" interactive sessions, showing them the true value of business-to-business accounting solutions over the Internet. Navision Software has a reputation for being first-to-market with advanced technologies in enterprise business solutions and its goal is to achieve long-term viability by becoming the provider of the leading standard.
"The fact that it has been designed for the Microsoft environment and the Internet, Navision Software suits us perfectly and is also easy-to-use. In pursuing our objective of developing business on the Internet, we need to work closely with companies like Navision who want to offer a comprehensive range of business related Internet services and products. The Internet is our business as well as that of our more than 700 corporate clients," Halliday adds.
Navision Software managing director Keith Mullan adds: "Use of the Internet for business is a revolutionary change, producing huge cost savings and competitive advantage for the businesses quick to adopt it. The Internet is driving communication and collaboration both within and between companies, advancing globalisation, and providing cost-effective channels for electronic commerce. By 2002, according to the best projections, Internet commerce will likely be a R1800-billion business."
