Trend Micro is the first company to achieve this certification.
Spyware continues to rank high on the list of security priorities for IT administrators. It creates issues involving the privacy and productivity among computer users, from individuals to enterprise organisations.
To help detect and block malicious spyware, Trend Micro offers integrated anti-spyware solutions that provide customers with comprehensive protection against various Internet-related threats. For a company to be certified, products must be able to detect remote access Trojans, key loggers, password and cookie stealers plus other assorted malware in the West Coast Labs Spyware test suite without causing false positive test results. Checkmark standards are continuously evolving to ensure they accurately reflect real-world situations and advances in technology.
