British software company Triometric has appointed Johannesburg-based 8th Man Consulting as the local distributor of its Performance Analyser Suite.
The software is designed to keep Web-based business applications functioning optimally by isolating and troubleshooting poor application performance.
"Users do not always run software correctly and often fail to follow best practices, which can have a significant impact on application performance and user productivity," says Adrian van der Merwe, MD of 8th Man Consulting.
According to Van der Merwe, Triometric's Performance Analyser Suite enables an organisation's Web-based applications to deliver accurate, reliable and timely results. He says it also ensures stakeholders can access reports via a Web browser, reducing dependence on the IT department.
Many large companies are implementing new technology that provides a single source of data and integrity to their corporate processes, but Van der Merwe says few are able to measure the extent to which the technology has been successfully implemented.
Van der Merwe says Triometric in the UK services banks, law firms, ASPs, information providers and online retailers. Its clients include Mondi, Reuters, Compass Group, British American Tobacco and Pearson, he adds.
