Edutain Distribution/Alien Technologies have announced the release of the Dazzle OnDVD 2.0 slideshow creation software. This product allows users to create digital photo slideshows that can be recorded to CD and viewed with family and friends on the living room television.
Creating a slideshow with Dazzle OnDVD 2.0 is quick and easy. Users simply choose which digital photos they want to display, arrange them in the order they want, then add their favourite audio tracks as background music. Photos can also be cropped and enhanced with adjustments to colour and resolution using OnDVD`s built-in Dazzle Photo Editor. Once the slideshow is complete, users can preview it to make sure it is exactly right, then record it onto a CD that can be played back on a home DVD player.

In addition to creating a slideshow that can be viewed on a DVD player, Dazzle OnDVD creates an archive of the original, high resolution digital photos on a CD-recordable media that can be read back from a PC`s CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, printed on high quality photographic paper and framed.
"Archiving digital photos on CD provides a durable, compact way to organise and store precious memories, while at the same time freeing up space on your computer`s hard drive," continued Philippides. "These original photos act as virtual negatives and can be printed and reprinted for years to come." Dazzle OnDVD 2 allows users to:
* Import up to 200 digital photos to organize into a photo slideshow;
* Edit pictures with Dazzle Photo Editor to touch up colour balance, rotate photos, crop images or reduce red eye;
* Insert background audio to accompany a slideshow;
* Preview the project to see how the slideshow will look and sound before it is burned onto CD; and
* Burn the slideshow to CD disc using OnDVD`s built-in CD burning engine.
Dazzle OnDVD software supports Windows 98 SE, 2000, ME and XP operating systems.
The program also comes bundled with Dazzle`s digital media reader product line.
