Faritec, a black empowered IT company, has announced the appointment of two new telecommunication executives. Sipho Ntshebe and Nazeem Cassiem have been appointed as client executives for Faritec`s telecommunications division.
Ntshebe and Cassiem will be responsible for Faritec`s strategic planning, implementation and continued growth into the southern African telecommunications sector. More specifically, they will focus on customer requirement analyses, scanning the market for new technologies and formulating Faritec`s go to market strategies. To further support these areas, the new members will also manage Faritec`s product sales and ensure top-level service delivery.
Ntshebe has accumulated over 18 years` experience in the telco sector. Prior to joining Faritec, Ntshebe was a sales account manager at Grintek Telecom responsible for developing sales strategies, drawing account plans, and preparing marketing and supplier reports. He also held positions at AST Holdings, Telkom and Ciskei`s Department of Posts and Telecom.
Cassiem brings with him 15 years` expertise in the IT sector. Subsequent to taking up his position at Faritec, Cassiem acted as an account manager at Attachmate accountable for managing mainframe solutions, terminal emulation and desktop management. He has also worked for Axis - One African Solutions, HP South Africa, Network Associates, Stanbic, Saswich and Rennies.
These two appointments are a result of Faritec`s telco division growing substantially during 2005, with telco reveune now representing more than 19% of Faritec`s overall turnover.
