Ultimus receives Microsoft gold partner status

Ultimus, a provider of business process management (BPM) and workflow automation software, has announced it has attained Gold Certified status in the Microsoft Partner Programme, with competencies in business process and integration solutions and ISV/software solutions, underscoring Ultimus` expertise and total impact in the technology marketplace.

Open source Java vendor JBoss announced a major update to its jBPM suite at LinuxWorld, in Boston.

According to Computing, Sacha Labourey, JBoss chief technology officer, said new tools would plug into the firm`s forthcoming enterprise service bus (ESB).

"It`s important to see how our projects fit into our overall service-oriented architecture strategy and the JBoss ESB, which is an asynchronous bus that will have a plug-and-play architecture," he said.

For 20 years workflow software has helped banks, insurance companies, government agencies, and manufacturers improve employee productivity, reduce cycle time, and reinforce best practices by automating the flow of tasks.
