Unicorn HRO unveils iCON
Unicorn HRO, a provider of HR and payroll solutions, has unveiled its newest application, iCON, reports PR Newswire.
The application is a fusion of the company's legacy GenevaPlus and Open4 applications. The next-generation product offers human resources and payroll professionals software-as-a-service (SaaS) functionality that combines signature features of all products in a single offering.
The new application effectively handles recruitment to retirement in both a green world and technology that needs to live in the clouds.
Ahlstrom implements UltiPro
Ahlstrom Nonwovens, a provider of high performance fibre-based materials, is using Ultimate Software's UltiPro human capital management solution delivered through SaaS to weather changing business conditions, says Accounting Software.com.
With 1 400 US-based employees and many business areas under its umbrella, Ahlstrom's decision-making team selected Ultimate because of the company's reputation for customer service, it said in a statement.
Other key factors in the decision included the UltiPro solution's easily configurable HCM features, its robust reporting, and Web access for administrators and employees in Ahlstrom's nine locations throughout the US.
Ceridian targets multinational companies
Ceridian Corporation, a global provider of managed HR, employee benefits administration, tax filing and payroll outsourcing solutions, has combined its HR outsourcing and multinational business teams to deliver HRO/managed payroll services across the globe, states Trading Markets.com
"Bringing the knowledge and best practices of these two teams together means Ceridian is better able to serve the needs of multinational companies," states Keith Strodtman, senior vice-president and GM, Ceridian HRO and Multinational Solutions.
Ceridian recently increased its multinational payroll to 50 countries, further expanding services in Europe, Asia-Pacific and South America.
