Unify creates new global partners unit

Unify Corporation today announced the creation of a new Global Partners business unit based in Sacramento, California., and the centralization of its European sales and technical support operations into its Paris, France office. The move is designed to leverage sales and support resources, while increasing customer service for the Company`s European customers and international distributor partners.

The new Global Partners unit will be based from Unify`s headquarters in Sacramento, Calif., and managed by Paul O`Donnell, who joins Unify as general manager for Unify Business Solutions and Global Partners. He will be responsible for maximizing the success of Unify`s current distributors in Russia, South Africa, Spain, Brazil, Latin America and Italy, while also growing the global partner network to capitalize on the rising acceptance of Unify NXJ in new territories.

"We`re focused on leveraging our international distributors to better serve our international customers and lay the foundation for revenue growth and profitability in these territories going forward," said Jim Kanir, vice president of worldwide sales for Unify. "Traditionally, revenues from our international customers have accounted for approximately half of Unify`s total revenues, so the creation of these new units allows Unify to increase support and services, including multi-lingual support, for this important customer base to enable their continued success with Unify products. Our distributors will benefit from specialized business assistance and partner management designed to increase sales in their territories."
