Unison appoints product manager to showcase its newest enterprise solution

Tyler Dawson recently joined the Unison ranks as its product manager. Having been in the telephony industry for over nine years, with seven of those in the telephone management system and voice mail markets, Dawson is the ideal candidate for the job.

Dawson`s previous positions include that of product management as well as logistics management. His projecting skills, product management background and product and market related knowledge complement Unison`s technical expertise. His core function is in managing Unison`s telephone management, billing, voice mail and fax server applications, both nationally and internationally.

Says Dawson: "The objective is to focus on increasing awareness of Unison`s product offering in the market. Unison has dominance in the southern African enterprise market and the reasons for this have often not been communicated back to the market. The aim is to develop the lines of communication between Unison, their clients and their distributors."

Dawson sees Unison as a highly successful, respected and established leader in its field. What attracted him was Unison`s credibility of over 21 years in the industry and its superior products.

"Unison is a Proudly South African Company, facing new challenges in a rapidly growing industry," says Dawson.

With regards to Unison`s newest product offering, Dawson has this to say: "Galactrix is proving to be a significant success. Unison already caters for the largest sites in southern Africa, many involving hundreds of individual sites with extensions in excess of 30 000. Dawson sees Unison`s future as continuing to dominate in the southern African market and in developing the African market.
