Local ICT software developer and distributor Unison Communications has announced the successful completion of its 8 000th installation in SA. The company is jubilant about the achievement and states that this now solidifies its position as a leader in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector.
[VIDEO]Unison focuses on the development and deployment of telephone management, voice processing and fax server systems through its network of telecommunication and information technology value-added resellers (VARs).
Craig Young, Unison`s newly appointed head of sales and business development, says: "Not only does our technology measure up to international standards but it is what we put behind our technology in terms of value-add that has ensured unrivalled market penetration. All our products are developed locally by our R&D team for the South African ICT environment. What`s more, we also have one of the most succinctly managed support and service infrastructures for our VAR network and their clients."
[VIDEO]Young says another differential is that Unison`s products are highly adaptable to changing market demands with the unique ability to develop and integrate for a client`s specific functional, architectural or platform requirements.
Unison says it was the first company in SA to hold a voicemail licence and on average is deploying 100 to 120 product installations a month into corporate SA.
"We have enjoyed good organic growth over the last few years," says Unison`s MD Derek Morris. "Recent market conditions in both the IT and telecommunications sector means that we cannot rest on our laurels. To enjoy continued growth, we`ve launched an internal re-investment programme to capitalise and consolidate new opportunities."
These opportunities include a new intellectual capital acquisition programme, the formulation of an African sales channel and restructuring of its channel sales department.
