Unison Communications, a company that develops, markets, implements and maintains world-class voice management applications and services, has reaffirmed its international plans by creating a new agent office in Namibia in order to better serve its more than 250 clients in this region.
"It is critical that we have a local presence, as we need to ensure all our existing customers in this region are properly supported, and this can best be achieved by instituting a highly focused local team, who will be able to maintain the high standard of service philosophy that Unison subscribes to," says Roman Szulc, Unison's sales director.
"The new appointment will offer our Namibian team the opportunity to present the full suite of Unison's support and service offerings, ensuring these are successfully adopted by both our existing customers and potential new clients."
Unison's decision to establish a presence in this part of Africa has been motivated by two main reasons. "Firstly," says Szulc, "the company has a number of key clients in the country, including such industry leaders as FNB, Standard Bank, the City of Windhoek, Nampower, Namibian Breweries, and Bank Windhoek to name just a few. "Furthermore, our strategic intention in the medium to long-term is to expand our service offering within the sub-Saharan market - and Namibia is simply the first step on the road to a much larger expansion plan.
"Currently, the company offers voice management applications and services to an enterprise customer base, with in excess of 8 000 implementations worldwide, and a significant percentage of the technology adoption therefore occurs outside of our South African borders."
As an example, Szulc sites the United Nations World Food Programme, which currently has 56 sites serviced by Unison around the globe, including sites across the African continent and some as far afield as Thailand. "We are happy to be extending our professional services and solutions directly to the Namibian market, by providing access to all our latest products and services and offering our clients the assurance we have only the highest quality support available to them."
We wish our agent, Candor Technologies Namibia, every success and thank our clients for their ongoing association.
