In a move that looks set to enhance support to the end-user, Unisys Global Customer Services Global Operations organisation has been certified by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance to ISO 9002 standard.

"Aside from validating our quality processes in the global delivery of support and services, the ISO 9002 certification provides benefits to Unisys clients," said Dave Methven, Director of Global customer Services for Unisys, SA. It has been our goal at Unisys to provide the same level of customer service globally, and by achieving the ISO 9002 certification we are that much closer to achieving our target.

Our international support operations are now linked and able to provide 24-hour service to any of our customers.

Unisys Global Support Operations, provides co-ordinated support services for Unisys and OEM systems, including call and problem escalation management.

Serving four geographic regions Europe/Africa, Asia/Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and United States/Canada with seamless follow-the-sun support, Global Support Operations operates a network of client support centres and call reception centres. Through these offices, Unisys provides call reception, logging entitlement services and a host of technical services.
