VentoMap for Telecommunications is a turnkey data warehousing application from Vento Software and Unisys Corporation. The product provides telecommunication decision makers with advanced capabilities for analysing their businesses and improving the decision making process by transforming organisational data into key performance indicators that deliver a timely, accurate and actionable view of a company`s business conditions. VentoMap provides a highly intuitive graphical environment where decision makers can slice information across multiple dimensions, drill down or across dimensions at any aggregate or detail level, and identify trends, problems and opportunities using maps, graphs, charts and tabular reports. At the end of each business day, a meaningful subset of transaction data is extracted from another system and passed onto the server. The server then standardises, optimises and loads the data into the data warehouse where it is analysed. VentoMap for Telecommunications provides applications specifically designed for the telecommunications industry. The product provides a graphical overview allowing telecommunication companies to measure and monitor the status and trends of KPI relevant to their business. A simple mouse click produces EIS and DSS applications that show supporting information for KPIs by user defined territories on a map. This can occur in multiple formats and in separate colours denoting performance levels in a specific region`s segment.
