Sales company Synapse Software has secured a contract with Transport and Logistics group Unitrans Limited, on behalf of its partner Staff Management Solutions (SMS), for a Web-based payroll and HR system.
This ASP offering delivers an integrated payroll/HR solution to Unitrans offices and depots around the country. Enabling a decentralised approach to payroll processing has resulted in substantial cost savings for the group, and a higher level of internal efficiency.
Hosted payroll services represent a strong trend in the market, challenging the traditional bureau and in-house payroll environment by offering convenient, cost-effective and secure applications over the Internet.
Through a single system, users may perform their entire pay cycle online, from processing payroll and HR information, submitting tax forms and payments and producing reports, to payment of third-party funds. High levels of security ensure the integrity and security of employee and company records.
