National network integration and ICT infrastructure management specialist Integr8 IT has been selected by Intrasight Technology Services, an IT consulting firm based in Phoenix, Arizona in the US, as its sole ICT partner for the Africa region.
Intrasight Technology Services specialises in the development and deployment of Microsoft business solutions. The firm helps customers deploy software solutions by providing an integrated team of business consultants, technical analysts, software architects, software developers and quality assurance specialists.
The US company has been eager to enter the Africa and South African market for some time and required a best-of-breed technology integrator and experienced partner to help set process in motion.
"Integr8 IT`s market share will allow the partnership to quickly and effectively deliver software related solutions to SA`s business community," explains Stuart Clapick, President of Intrasights` software solutions group.
"As certain technology solutions are generally consumed by US companies six months to a year before they hit the South African market, the partnership will provide both companies with a strategic advantage. While other IT companies are planning to release new solutions, we will be implementing them. This partnership will effectively ensure the underlying architecture is supported via Integr8 IT`s managed service offering," adds Clapick.
According to Robert Sussman, joint-MD at Integr8 IT, this deal represents an early feather in the cap for the company and will most certainly benefit the local market as far as depth of service, access to new software, skills transfer and employment opportunities are concerned.
