ZyXEL Communications` Prestige 630 ADSL USB modem is now available from official South African distributor Rectron.
The Prestige 630 is an external USB ADSL modem which combines the speed of ADSL technology with the ease of setup and operation facilitated by a plug-and-play USB interface.
Furthermore, as the USB also powers the modem there is no need for an external power adapter.
Comments Steward Diss, ZyXEL product manager at Rectron: "The Prestige 630 features factory-installed settings and simple installation, which greatly reduce technical support, cost and effort. In addition, the standard USB interface enables hassle-free, instant connectivity to the PC or laptops."
Complying with both G.DMT (ITU-T G.992.1) and G.Lite (G.992.2) standards, the Prestige 630 is interoperable with major Central Office DSLAM equipment.
