Following on from the highly successful ACCPAC partner conference in early February, LA Technology, sole distributors for ACCPAC in Africa, hosted a nationwide series of user events, ACCPAC EXPO 2000, in the following week, expounding on the theme of 'The Future of Better Business'
The one-day events, held in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town, drew over 500 delegates keen to benefit from the insights gained at ACCPAC partner conference into the latest international ACCPAC developments.
International expertise featured strongly at the partner conference including Bill Copeland, vice-president of ACCPAC International, leading a team of four technical experts from ACCPAC International.
Jeremy Waterman, managing director of LA Technology, comments: "ACCPAC EXPO 2000 offered a flexible programme designed to give users a three dimensional view of the future role of IT business tools and solutions that provide a unique competitive advantage in the management their businesses."
Modules were presented by experts from ACCPAC International, as well as top third-party developers from South Africa, Australia and Canada. Delegates were informed about new opportunities, focusing on the three dimensions of business that ACCPAC covers: Core Business Solutions, Enterprise Solutions and eCommerce Solutions.
Amongst the many topics on offer, the release of ACCPAC for Windows 4.1 was covered in depth. Delegates also had opportunities to explore ACCPAC's highly cost-effective range of Enterprise Solutions including a range of Best-of-Breed specialist products ranging from manufacturing, warehouse management, job and project costing and service management, amongst others. ACCPAC's eAdvantage modules, interfacing with the ACCPAC for Windows 4.1 release, also came under the spotlight.
