Utimaco SafeGuard MailGateway 5.2 assumes the function of a Central Corporate Post Office. It digitally signs and encrypts e-mails before they are sent. SafeGuard PDFMail then converts the encrypted e-mails, including attachments, into a PDF document.
For the first time, e-mail recipients using SafeGuard PDFMail do not require additional encryption software. By means of a password, the recipient is able to view the encrypted data with a PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat, and reply to it securely, even from a PDA or SmartPhone.
A reply button in the PDF documents links the recipient via a Web browser with the sender's SafeGuard Mail Gateway on a secure connection.
