Accounting and business management solution provider Navision has announced the appointment of Vari-Vision as the newest addition to its rapidly growing network of Navision Solution centres (NSCs).
Prior to the company`s appointment as NSC, managing director Paul Henry took on the development of a cash book add-on to the Navision offering which, says Navision MD Keith Mullan, "is the ideal complement to our existing suite of products".
"Having come from an accounting background, I noticed that the Navision package, being of international origin, was ideally suited for the local market," relates Henry. "Together with Navision, Vari-Vision developed a cash book add on to cater for the South African market. Navision has been exceptionally helpful and has provided the necessary support to ensure that this project was successful."
"Great Britain, Canada and Australia also use a cash book system, which means Vari-Vision`s Cash Book has international market potential as well," says Mullan. "The product has been written along the same lines as all the other Navision modules, so users can choose between it or the Bank Management System, depending on which one they`re more comfortable with."
According to Henry, his involvement with Navision during the development of the cash book add-on has served to strengthen his belief in the product. "Having seen the level of functionality the Navision solution offers, I have decided to concentrate solely on my role as a NSC. "It is extremely competitive, both from a price and functionality perspective, and is very user-friendly. Additionally, users don`t have to buy the entire suite to derive the benefits of the solution. They only need to invest in those modules that satisfy their immediate needs, and can purchase additional modules later as their business requirements change."
Henry says Vari-Vision also plans to open a Navision training centre soon for end-users, and to this end is currently undergoing training on all facets of the package.
As an international company with a business structure and development environment geared to keep pace with a world in motion, Navision is committed to working closely with its channel to maintain the ongoing international standard.
"We work closely together with our NSC`s to offer fast, flexible and versatile business solutions that respond to rapidly changing demands, while growing with the company," Mullan concludes.
