24 August 2010 sees velocity group acquire a majority stake in iLinx Simple Office Solutions for an undisclosed sum. iLinx offers solutions in the office automation, VOIP and PABX areas.
The new business unit will be a standalone entity within velocity group, but will leverage off the synergies created from an administration, technical and marketing perspective.
"The acquisition is in line with our goal of offering additional value added services and products to our customers, as well as ensuring that our long-term goal of building a substantial annuity revenue stream is achieved," said Jonathan Kropf, velocity group Managing Director.
