Mimecast, the leading supplier of cloud-based e-mail archiving, security and continuity for Microsoft Exchange, has concluded an agreement with managed infrastructure services specialist, Velocity Group, to incorporate Unified Email Management as a core component of its hosted Exchange platform.
Velocity Group was founded in 2007, and has since evolved into one of South Africa's foremost providers of ICT services to the corporate market. The group's hosted Exchange platform comprises several tools aimed at streamlining electronic communication within client IT frameworks.
The inclusion of Mimecast's Unified Email Management to the solution is central to ensuring consistent e-mail availability and security within a private hosted Exchange environment.
"As a certified business partner with Mimecast, we are extremely familiar with Mimecast's product suite. With this in mind we had no doubt that Unified Email Management would prove a valuable addition to Velocity Group's private hosted Exchange offering," comments Brendan Haskins, Cloud General Manager for Velocity Group.
