Setting the latest trend of fashion in the TFT LCD monitor market, Tarsus Technologies has announced the availability of the SaumsungSyncMaster 171P monitor.

Mark Campbell, GM at Tarsus Technologies, says the 171P is already set up to handle both digital and analogue signals. "All the user has to do is plug-in the appropriate VGA and DVI cables, and Samsung does the rest. The SyncMaster 171P then processes the signals to secure razor-sharp picture quality."
Buttons on the front panel are backlit for easier reading. However, with the auto-sync feature, users won`t have the nuisance of modifying them as all adjustments in image size, position and timing are automatically done for them.
Freeing up your desktop from the unnecessary clutter of cables has never been easier. Samsung`s 171P has been designed to take up as little desktop real estate and create as little clutter as possible. The rear embedded cable lets you utilise your desktop space for maximum performance.
"Through Samsung`s technical innovations, the 171P offers the best performance in terms of brightness, contrast and viewing angle, while using the least amount of power," adds Campbell. "In energy saving mode, called LoPower, the monitor requires less than 2.1 watts for full 17-inch display performance. This is lower than other LCDs and substantially lower than traditional CRT monitors of the same size."
From the corporate office to the home office, the Samsung 171P makes transporting of this monitor a breeze. The carry handle on the back of the monitor ensures mobility, but once on a user`s desktop, the SyncMaster 171P will not be easy to remove.
