VIBE 2007, a business intelligence event hosted by Harvey Jones Systems, promises its attendees an objective view on BI tools, independent of vendor influence.
The event features a presentation by Nigel Pendse, an independent BI analyst, who has authored The OLAP Survey since 2001. His presentation draws on that research - touted as the world's largest independent BI survey - to provide practical analyses based on data, not opinion.
John Swanepoel, a consultant to Shoprite Checkers and a solution architect, will share his experiences in conceptualising, deploying and supporting an enterprise business intelligence data warehouse that addresses, among other things, the stock control for the six hundred Shoprtirte Checkers stores throughout Africa and Asia.
Other speakers include Keith Jones and Erwin Bisschops from Harvey Jones Systems.
