MTN 21 Days of Y'ello care is a staff volunteering campaign that encourages MTN staff to contribute to community development initiatives.
The campaign takes place from 1 June - 21 June in all 22 countries where MTN operates. This year (2017) marks the 10th year of the campaign and the theme is education for all. Aligned to the theme, the Thusong Youth Centre in Alexandra received 25 computers with Internet access for its IT centre from MTN.
In addition, MTN staff members refurbished the library as well as assisted with providing food for the local children. This was just one of several initiatives undertaken by MTN countrywide over the 21-day period. Another recipient was the Ekurhuleni School for the Deaf, which received a specialised multimedia centre, which is also sponsored by MTN.
