ViewDirect/Siebel interface puts documents at users` fingertips

ViewDirect for Networks, one of the flagship products in the Mobius Management Systems range, now interfaces with Siebel Systems eBusiness applications to enable `one and done` customer service - the ability to satisfy a customer inquiry in a single interaction by putting documents at the users` fingertips.

With this integration, users will be able to seamlessly search and access an integrated ViewDirect repository of current and historical documents, reports and images. The ViewDirect interface is certified for all Siebel Systems eBusiness2000 modules, all vertical solutions and all clients.

Siebel`s reseller in SA is Dimension Data and Mobius Management Systems is represented by Bateleur Software Solutions.

The CSIR, Sanlam, Mutual & Federal and Saambou currently use products from the Mobius suite of Web-based software for managing and presenting enterprise content while Dimension Data`s client list includes numerous other blue chips clients.

ViewDirect captures, stores, integrates and Web-enables documents in multiple formats from multiple sources - enterprise application report output, bills, statements, scanned forms, e-mail, transactions, policies, customer correspondence and more.

It makes this diverse content available over the Internet and corporate networks to employees, to customers, and to front-office systems such as customer relationship management, electronic bill/statement presentation and payment, and enterprise information portals.

Siebel Systems` integrated family of eBusiness applications software enable multi-channel sales, marketing and customer service systems to be deployed over the Web, call centres, field, reseller channels, retails and dealer networks.

The ViewDirect/Siebel interface will give Siebel users access to documents stored in the ViewDirect repository. From within the Siebel environment, using the familiar Siebel user interface, a user will be able to drill down from a customer record to the associated documents stored in ViewDirect. To guarantee document security, ViewDirect authenticates users and verifies access permissions using Siebel security rules.
